I had a mixed experience at the Courtyard By Marriott Boston Downtown. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city, but the room size was a downside. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I faced some issues with the amenities and noise levels during my stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, but it felt cramped. It lacked sufficient wardrobe space and there was no bathtub, which was a letdown for me. The soundproofing could be improved as I heard noise from the elevator and neighboring rooms.
Service
7.0
Staff members at the hotel were great. They were welcoming and went out of their way to assist me. I appreciated the valet service, but I faced some challenges with billing and communication about invoices.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is perfect for anyone looking to explore Boston. It's close to the theater district and all major sights, which made my sightseeing very convenient.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed breakfast, though it came at an extra cost. I wish they offered a complimentary breakfast option, as the market prices for snacks and drinks felt a bit steep.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities included a nice lobby and clean laundry services. However, the Wi-Fi connection was quite poor, which was disappointing during my stay.

6.0/10

I had a great experience during my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown. The location is ideal for exploring downtown, with the theater district and many attractions nearby. The staff was friendly and attentive, really adding to the overall vibe. On the downside, the rooms could use some improvement in terms of noise insulation and amenities, but those weren't total dealbreakers for me.

Rooms
7.0
The Tremont King Room was comfortable and clean, but I found it a bit small and could hear noise from the adjacent room. Overall, it met my basic needs for a short visit.
Service
9.0
I really appreciated the attentive service. The staff was friendly and helpful, recommending great dining options nearby. They definitely went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic - close to the TD Garden and a short walk to the North End. It's perfect for anyone looking to explore all that downtown Boston has to offer.
Dining
8.0
While the hotel doesn't have a full-service restaurant, I found plenty of amazing dining options in the North End that made up for it. The restaurant staff was good at breakfast too.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers valet parking, but the absence of some amenities like a mini-fridge or recycling options was a bit disappointing. Still, the essentials were covered.

5.8/10

I had a stay that was somewhat mixed. The location of the hotel was fantastic, making it easy to explore the Theatre District and nearby attractions. However, I faced several issues with my room, including its cramped nature and lack of basic amenities. Customer service was hit or miss, but I did encounter some friendly staff members during my visit.

Rooms
5.0
The room was smaller than I expected, lacking adequate storage space for my belongings, which was tough since I was traveling with family. Additionally, the shower had really low water pressure, and the bathroom door didn't shut properly.
Service
6.0
While some staff were super welcoming and accommodating, especially during check-in, others seemed overwhelmed and not very helpful when I had issues.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was a major highlight for me. It was in the Theatre District and a short walk to Boston Common, which made getting around really easy.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the breakfast experience; my server was friendly, and the food was served warm. However, I noticed the absence of a full restaurant, which would have been a nice addition.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had a decent bar in the lobby, but I was disappointed that parking wasn't included in my stay, especially considering the city's high costs.

5.8/10

I had a great weekend at Courtyard By Marriott Boston Downtown. The location was perfect for exploring, right in the Theatre District and close to major attractions such as Boston Common and Downtown Crossing. While the staff were exceptionally friendly, I found the dining options a bit limited and pricey. Overall, it's a solid choice for a city getaway, but some improvements could enhance the experience.

Rooms
8.0
My king room on the 8th floor was comfortable and had a beautiful city view, but it lacked a mini-fridge and microwave, which would have been useful. The compact space was adequate for my needs, though I could see how some might find it smaller than expected.
Service
9.0
The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They resolved a minor issue with my room quickly, showing great professionalism without being overbearing.
Location
10.0
The hotel is ideally located in the Theatre District, making it easy to walk to Boston Common and numerous restaurants and shops. The MBTA station is just steps away, which was super convenient for getting around the city.
Dining
7.0
Though the breakfast options were a bit expensive at $20, I opted to explore nearby eateries like Mike & Patty's instead. I appreciated the quick access to local dining options, which allowed me to make the most of my mornings.
Facilities
6.0
The available facilities were generally okay, but the gym and dining areas felt a bit outdated. I wish there had been a bit more in terms of amenities, especially considering the location and hotel brand.

5.4/10

I had a mixed experience at the Courtyard By Marriott Boston Downtown. While the location was superb, putting me right in the heart of the Theater District, my overall comfort suffered due to noise and room size. The service was generally attentive; however, there were instances of inconsistency that left me feeling a bit frustrated.

Rooms
6.0
The initial room I received was quite tiny, barely accommodating my luggage. When I switched to a larger room, it was much more comfortable. However, the overall size of most rooms seemed small, limiting my enjoyment of the space.
Service
6.0
The staff members were mostly helpful, especially Lauda and Grace at the front desk who assisted me when I lost my phone. However, I did encounter some less than friendly staff and inconsistencies that detracted from the experience.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was absolutely amazing. so close to major attractions and the subway, which made exploring Boston incredibly easy. I loved being able to walk everywhere.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were decent, but I found the breakfast service a bit slow during peak times. The quality was good, yet the experience missed the mark due to timing issues.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities met basic needs, though I missed having a safe in the room. The on-site amenities covered essential services but could use additional features for a more comfortable stay.
